    The firm is running a Summer Placement Scheme for a limited

    designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney
% `9 l3 P0 ?6 [) W7 @" f    really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand
: M: d2 u' F9 E. n3 ?# E. d1 I    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters
0 b5 C. i0 c( e    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent 7 Z0 B/ ?$ T2 W9 e7 V' R
    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a & F$ b. }) `9 q% `
    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the
1 e! G  T) K  f, L) o0 c2 f* R    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement 6 ]2 `. y9 u( ]+ g& D
