We know that some students have been refused their Tier 1 – Post Study' ~* Y) m# L) D6 U5 z9 k* k% b
Work visas because the Home office has not accepted the confirmation4 C" w ?' U2 ^1 ^, d
of award letter issued by the Student Services Centre as proof of the
7 d1 Q5 q. s+ k/ h0 o1 Ustudent's award. We wrote to the Home Office about this issue and they& b! \6 t- _- I/ }
have now confirmed that our confirmation of award letter (the version6 U. }/ N/ \; @/ I1 I. ?
issued in or after November) is sufficient proof that a student has6 \, x# |* {8 \+ X6 c
been awarded their degree. They have also agreed to reconsider# B; W4 q5 f9 B) q
students' applications which were refused on this basis.% ]) F3 p. y+ P: m7 q/ b' C
