About the position:

    number of candidates in the week starting 3 August 2009 which is ; N# X4 t9 v3 |1 h( b
    designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney
! ]; U4 p  V2 w4 Y    really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand
7 t1 G: F4 p: C/ V4 o( A' m8 ?3 h' P    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters : w6 b9 E: d9 E% M( O
    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent , [1 [) H* |* A* E7 f6 V
    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a
0 K/ D! |1 U2 E    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the
& A! o% i; D, P9 U4 u. S/ S    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement
