' X# Y7 e7 ?/ `. }# XIn order to maximize the use of the Chinese books, Huaxia Chinese School plans to provide a mobile library service for pupils. To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. The wage will be round 20 pounds per week. 5 ^! @% d0 ]) [6 k  n3 `- S

Keeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm;$ ^8 S( s2 A7 M/ q2 \7 Q
o$ z9 U# r+ o& ^" {! t: p
Helping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;

Liaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week;

4 B5 }, @0 G: u" k$ I$ c" [, PDealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly

) I8 a0 V0 Q3 N* `1 MUndertaking limited cash handling (e.g. fines)

% w6 S6 f+ K* B! uMaintaining borrowing record and updating available book list accordingly

be reliable, responsible and friendly, having attention to details4 O5 R$ @8 u9 X
o# l, s1 {8 I# b
have ability to work under pressure and with limited or no immediate supervision;
% [$ W% `' @# D: y' T; y+ @o5 q/ S( d0 {3 ?/ C' R1 `5 R: }
have own transport

0 c$ {1 _6 k0 K, \9 K# p) }1 Lbe familiar with common office software such as MS Office

have Internet access and is willing to be trained for updating online book list  t4 k9 ^8 H+ ^1 R1 c, W

be able to communicate in both English and Chinese/ p& L) h( `5 {& E
Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be an advantage.6 B* W" U: t3 e2 I5 v
