1 U2 I' E# j% _/ fIn order to maximize the use of the Chinese books, Huaxia Chinese School plans to provide a mobile library service for pupils. To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. The wage will be round 20 pounds per week. % y4 j; `. q: g7 a/ L

' F/ ^1 Q/ B5 V3 C& ?2 dKeeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm;

9 Q; `2 W# w- \6 r- E3 h% c; N* lHelping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;

Liaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week;9 O4 |6 A7 s( ~- |0 O' L, T

9 ]# W- m$ u/ \# U- C" H6 qDealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly& e5 f. W+ B+ |6 m

8 _1 ]# K: j. b" a5 RUndertaking limited cash handling (e.g. fines). p9 h, f4 e, Y" Y8 t

Maintaining borrowing record and updating available book list accordingly

% N/ j! h% M6 Y, j1 t% \be reliable, responsible and friendly, having attention to details5 F7 k2 f3 w/ v, k  H6 n2 f6 x* ]

; y+ M8 u2 }  K& ~/ y) N' [2 |have ability to work under pressure and with limited or no immediate supervision; 5 T3 j; Q3 @6 |/ {  ?* b: X

be familiar with common office software such as MS Office

be able to communicate in both English and Chinese  v" c& q* s3 k- O5 X) r
Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be an advantage.$ \1 o) g0 h8 {) h4 k8 l$ i+ t# L
