Work visas because the Home office has not accepted the confirmation

student's award. We wrote to the Home Office about this issue and they
, ]' j) m+ {7 @have now confirmed that our confirmation of award letter (the version
' O0 x: f" [: T; Y! n! Gissued in or after November) is sufficient proof that a student has, ~+ [+ W6 @/ L0 {- h: A4 L
been awarded their degree. They have also agreed to reconsider
, g7 R; _, V+ X9 C+ d0 ystudents' applications which were refused on this basis.

If you have had your Tier 1 – Post Study Work application solely8 b% r2 t, Z7 L$ F  K! h1 J
refused because the Home Office did not accept the validity of the
, E3 X! z6 |+ _3 Uconfirmation of award letter issued by us then you need to come to the
* W' n) E1 t& u9 g% w, EStudent Services Centre to speak to a member of the International
; K3 F$ P, B6 K; UAdvice Team. You also need to bring in your refusal notice and the
8 X1 t6 U# Y+ ~, E- d( T6 Cconfirmation of award letter that you submitted as part of your
3 Z9 v. S' O# ?# _. Eoriginal application. In order to do this you must ring us on 0161 275
