3        The figures are £400 per month start up costs (for those coming in from outside the UK), plus £800 funds per month, plus 2/3 of the funds required by the principal applicant for the first dependant and 1/3 for each subsequent dependant. As a general rule, 3 months funds will be required from people coming into the UK and 1 month’s for people who are switching into a points system subcategory.
