+ |1 d& O% t; t( F) e6 aIn order to maximize the use of the Chinese books, Huaxia Chinese School plans to provide a mobile library service for pupils. To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. The wage will be round 20 pounds per week. , L  F  Q6 Q" g' H

" w$ _0 |% i+ ^Keeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm;

Helping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;
+ J5 O% N2 l: i; D7 D" m/ R: @o
0 r; E- u9 }( A% gLiaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week;+ v) u5 h( u9 u$ ?! P

0 ?8 d/ v; k" p2 T% @7 GDealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly

" z; F( ~9 w' kUndertaking limited cash handling (e.g. fines)( O& {* x8 ^1 X1 d4 z

have ability to work under pressure and with limited or no immediate supervision;

be familiar with common office software such as MS Office

have Internet access and is willing to be trained for updating online book list# r5 S* p* u. ^/ H

be able to communicate in both English and Chinese% O2 W& ^2 O9 e& F0 {8 g
Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be an advantage.$ P9 d( b7 T, |0 v1 C% I2 e
