R number of candidates in the week starting 3 August 2009 which is & Q- J$ H, \4 L designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney * n. o( m* c$ \; [8 @ really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand ( I& \& k5 @& n2 o7 `1 C1 w experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters 9 q* c3 `* Y/ | J# J+ h
within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent " c! C7 z7 K& s$ L drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a : o! S: j. b* e- Z2 B5 U
contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the & n% r* T) N& z( @- ?; w4 k Z
